The perimeter of a rectangular park having length 5 m is 17 m. find the area of the park​

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

length of rectangular park = 5 meters

breadth of rectangular park=17 meters

based on formula 2(l+b)

=2(5+17)

=2(22)

=24

therefore:

perimeter of rectangular park=24 meters

Perimeter→ 2(l+b)

17m → 2(5+b)

17m → 10+2b

17-10m → 2b

7/2m → b

3.5m → b

Area of park:-

5×3.5 sq.m

17.5 sq.m
