Perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+b)
And perimeter of given rectangle is 400ft
2(l+b)=400
l+b=400/2
l+b=200
But breath is 50ft (given)
l+50=200
l=200-50
l=150 ft
Now ratio of length and width (breath) is given as
l:b=150/50
. . . 3:1
Hence the required ratio is 3:1
