perimeter of rectangle =2(l+B)
2(l+B)=100
2(35+B)=100
35+B=50
B=50-35
B=15
so breadth of the rectangle is 15 cm
and area of the rectangle is =l*B
area =35*15
area =525 cm^2
so area of the rectangle is 525cm^2
