Perimeter of a rectangle = 2X(L+B)
Perimeter is 100 cm length is 35 cm breadth = B
100=2X(35+B)
100=70+2B
100-70=2B
30=2B
B=30/2
B=15 cm
Area of Rectangle = LXB
35X15
525 cm square
Hope it Helps

Answer:

let d is the breadth of the rectangle

length =35 cm

perimeter=2(35+d)=100

=> 35+d=100/2=50

=> d=50-35=15

so breadth =15 cm

area=35cm×15cm

=525 sq cm
