Answer:

hope this helps

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth be 'x'

Length = 2 + 2x

Now perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

2(l + b) = 154

2 ( 2 + 2x + x) = 154

2 ( 2 + 3x) = 154

2 + 3x = 77

3x = 75

x = 25 m

Required breadth = 25 m

Length = 2 + 2 x 25 = 52 m

  • LET THE LENGTH BE =X
  • & BREADTH BE. =Y

ATQ

  • 2(x+y)=154.
  • 2x+2y=154. (1)

  • x=2+2y(2)

  • substituting value of x=2+2y from eq1 in

2(2+2y)+2y=154

4+4y+2y=154

6y=150

y=150/6

y=25

subsituiting value of y in eq 2

x=2+2(25)

x=52

LENGTH=52 METERS

BREADTH=25
