Let the breadth of the pool be x.

By the condition ,

length = 2(breadth) + 2
length = 2(x) + 2

length = 2x + 2

The perimeter of the rectangular pool is
154m .

We know that ,
Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

154 = 2 [ (2x + 2) + (x) ]

154 = 2 [2x + 2 + x]

154 = 2 [3x + 2]

154 = 6x + 4

154 - 4 = 6x

150 = 6x

x = 150 / 6

x = 25

Therefore.........
Breadth = 25m.

length = 2x + 2
length = 2(25) + 2
length = 50 + 2
length = 52m.

Given that,

Perimeter of rectangular swimming pool = 154 m

Let the breadth of rectangle be = x

According to the question,

Length of the rectangle = 2x + 2 We know that,

Perimeter = 2(length + breadth)

⇒ 2(2x + 2 + x) = 154 m

⇒ 2(3x + 2) = 154

⇒ 3x +2 = 154/2

⇒ 3x = 77 – 2

⇒ 3x = 75

⇒ x = 75/3

⇒ x = 25 m

Therefore, Breadth = x = 25 cm

Length = 2x + 2

= (2 × 25) + 2

= 50 + 2

= 52 m
