★ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (Length + Breadth )

So,

==> 2 × (Length + Breadth) = 154

==> Y + X = 154/2

==> X + Y = 77

==> X + (X + 2) = 77

==> 2X = 77 - 2

==>2X = 75

==> X = 75/2

==>X = 37.5
