The answer is given below :

We know that perimeter of a rhombus

= 4 × length of a side of the rhombus

=> 120 = 4 × length of a side of the rhombus

=> length of a side of the rhombus = 30 units

According to the question,

length of a side of the rhombus = length of a side of the square = 30 units

Now, the area of the square

= (side of the square)²

= 30² unit²

= 900 unit²
