The perimeter of a right triangle is 24cm . If its hypotenuse is 10 cm. Find the other 2 sides and Find it's area using heron's formula.​

by Pythagoras theorem

x²+(14-x)²=10²=100

2x²+196-28x=100

2x²-28x+96=0

x²-14x+48=0

(x-6)(x-8)=0

x=8,6

hence the other two sides are 6cm, 8cm.
