Given Perimeter of a school = 2(l + b).= 177 -------------- (1)

Given length is twice the width l = 2b -------------- (2)

Substitute equation (2) in (1), we get

2(2b + b) = 177

4b + 2b = 177

6b = 177

b = 177/6

   = 29.5 ft

Substitute b in equation (2), we get

l = 2 * 29.5

  = 59 ft.

Hope this helps!
