perimeter of a square=4×side

60=4×x

60/4=X

15=one side

area of square=(side)^2

=15^2

=15×15

=225sqcm

perimeter of the square= 4Xside

let the side to be x

=4x = 60cm

x = 60/4

divide it by 2 so your answer is 15

area of the square = side x side

=15x15

=225msquare

Hence the area of the square is 225msquare
