Answer:

Let the three consecutive odd integers be

  • 2x + 1
  • 2x + 3
  • 2x + 5.

=> Perimeter = sum of all sides

=> 117 = 2x + 1 + 2x + 3 + 2x + 5.

=> 117 = 6x + 9

=> 108 = 6x

=> x = 108/6

=> x = 18

Sides=>

  • 2x + 1 => 2(18) + 1 => 36 + 1 => 37cm
  • 2x + 3 => 2(18) + 3 => 36 + 3 => 39cm
  • 2x + 5 => 2(18) + 5 => 36 + 5 => 41cm

LENGTH OF LONGEST SIDE = 41 cm
