let the sides of the triangle be 5a, 12a, 13a.

therefore:

5a + 12a + 13a = 120

30a = 120

a = 120/ 30

a = 4

therefore the longest side of the triangle = 13 x 4 = 52m

The total parts are5 plus 12 plus 13 =30

The required length is 13×120/30=52
