The perimeter of a triangle is 144 cm and ratio
of lengths of its sides is 2:3:4. Construct the
triangle.​

Given:-

Perimeter of the triangle = 144cm

Ratio of sides = 2:3:4

To find:-

Construction of the triangle

Assumption:-

let the angles of the triangle be 2x , 3x and 4x

Solution:-

We know that ,

Perimeter of a triangle = sum of all three sides

144 = 2x + 3x + 4x

144 = 9x

x = 144/9

x = 16

Now:-

Sides are -

2x = 2×16 = 32

3x = 3×16 = 48

4x = 4×16 = 64

We got all the three sides of triangle,
