Perimeter of triangle =40 cm ,
Let the length of its third side be x
According to the question=
12.9cm+14.6cm+x=40cm
27.5cm+x=40cm
x=(40-27.5)cm
x=12.5cm
Therefore length of third side =12.5cm

Heya !!!

This is your answer.

Given :-

Perimeter of triangle= 40 cm.
Two sides = 12.9 cm and 14.6 cm.

We know that perimeter of triangle= Sum of all sides.
or. = a + b + c

Sum of two sides = 12.9 + 14.6
= 27.5 cm.
Third side = Perimeter - Sum of two sides.
= 40 - 27.5
= 12.5 cm.

Hence, the third side is 12.5 cm.
Hope it helps
