perimeter of triangle=sum of all side
49=7+5+?
49=12+?
?=49-12
=37
third side is 37cm.but the triangle will not be possible because sum of side is greater then third side

dilipkumarprinp4e6xm: its possible
ashu99205: how
dilipkumarprinp4e6xm: they asked only to find the sides of triangle they didnt ask to prove that is triangle
ashu99205: please tell so i understand my mistake

let the second side=x
let the third side=y
first side=x+7      and    y-5
so, x+7=y-5
      x-y+12=0

perimeter = 49
so,
x+y+x+7=49
2x+y-42=0
now compare both equations
u will get x=10
so first side=17
     second side=10
       third side=22
