SOLUTION

let the base be x cm

second side = x +3

third side = x - 3

✔️perimeter of triangle = a + b + c

A/q ,

=> x + x+3 + x-3 = 72

=> 3x = 72 ... (positive and negative 3 are cancelled)

=> x = 72/3

=> x = 24

hence, base = 24cm

second side = 24 + 3 = 27cm

third side = 24 - 3 = 21cm
