shortest side = b

given,

a = b + 16 ----(1)

a + b = 2c ----(2)

a + b + c = 90

=> 2c + c = 90 (from 2)

=> 3c = 90

=> c = 90/3 = 30

putting c in (2),

a + b= 2 × 30 = 60

=> b + 16 + b = 60

=> 2b = 60 - 16 = 44

=> b = 44/2 = 22

putting b in (1),

a = b + 16

=> a = 22+16 = 38
