let the side of the square is x cm

so diagonal of the square =√(x^2+x^2)cm

=√2x^2cm

=x√2 cm

so, x√2=9√2

=> x=9

side of the square=9cm

perimeter of the square=4×9cm=36cm

perimeter of the equilateral triangle is 36 cm

side of the equilateral triangle=36/3 cm=12cm

area of the equilateral triangle is √3/4.12^2 sq cm

=√3×144/4 sq cm

=36√3 sq cm
