Answer:

The perimeter of a triangle = (a+b+c)

but ,here we have a isoceles triangle

and we know that two sides of a isosceles triangle are equal.

Let equal sides be a and b

Therefore, a=b

According to question,

perimeter of triangle = 18

a+a+c=18

2a+c=18

And, 2*23/4+c=18

23/2+c=18

c=13/2cm

hence , the third side of isoceles triangle is 13/2cm.

Given:-

perimeter= 18cm

side of equal side is 23/4cm

To find:-

Third side?

Find:-

Perimeter= Sum of all side

18= 23/4 + 23+/4 + x

18=23/2+x

x= 18-23/2

=13/2

Hence the side of third line is 6.5cm
