Solution:-

Given:-

  • Perimeter of Isosceles Right Triangle is 41cm.
  • Hypotenuse = 17cm.

To Find:-

  • Area of the Triangle = ?

Find:-

We know that,

In Isosceles Triangle, Two sides are of equal length. Let the both equal side be "x" cm.

=) Perimeter of Triangle = 41

=) 17 + x + x = 41

=) 2x = 41 - 17

=) x = 24/2

=) x = 12

Hence,

Height and the Base are of 12 cm.

So,

Area of Triangle = 1/2 × Base × Height

=) Area = 1/2 × 12 × 12

=) Area = 6 × 12

=) Area = 72cm²

Hence,

Area of the Isosceles Right Triangle is 72cm².
