Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

side 1=side 2 [ isosceles triangle has two equal sides][s refers to side]

side 1:side 3=3:2

perimeter=32cm=side 1+side 2+side 3=side 1+side 1+side 3

32=3x+3x+2x

32=8x

32/8=x

∴x=4

side 1=side 2=3x=12

side 3=2x=8

[scroll down if you are under class 9]

area=√(s(s-side 1)(s-side 2)(s-side 3))     [herons formula] [s is =perimeter/2 ]

=√(16(16-12)(16-12)(16-8))

=√(16* 4*4*8)

=4*4*2√2

=32√2

!!!!!!!only for under class 9!!!!!!!!!

see fig

area = 1/2 * base  * height

bad is a isosceles triangle

ad = ab

ac is a perpendicular bisector of db

{as angle acb = angle acd [perpendicular contraction] ; ad = ab [isosceles triangle] ; ac is a conman side so triangle ADC is congregant to triangle ABC by rhs rule of concurrency }

   so

CB(base) = (side 3)/2 =8/2

=4

height²=base ²+ab²

=4²+12²

=16+144

h=√160

hight=√160

a=1/2*4*√160

a=32√2

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hope it helps
