The perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 42cm and its bas 1 *1\2times each of the equal sides find the length of each side of the triangle. The area of the triangle and the height of the triangle.

let base be 3a and each side 2a. perimeter is 42 thus sides are 18. 12. 12. height=sqrt(12^2- 9^2)= 7.9372. Area=9*7.9372=71.4353. From heron area=sqrt(21*3*9*9)=71.5353
