The perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 48 cm. if the length of

each of its equal sides is 3 cm more than the length of its base,

find the length of the sides of the triangle.​

Answer:

Let the base be x, then each of the equal sides will be x+3

x+3+x+3+x=48

3x+9=48

3x=39

x=13
