 \sf Let \: the \: third \: side \: be \: x. \\ \\ \because \sf x + \frac{9}{4} + \frac{9}{4} = \frac{4 3 }{4} \\ \\ \to \sf x + \frac{18}{4} = \frac{43}{4} \\ \\ \sf \to x = \frac{43}{4} - \frac{18}{4} \\ \\ \sf \to x = \frac{25}{4}

✔✔ Hence, it is solved ✅✅.

Given,

Perimeter of isosceles traingle = 43/4cm

Measure of two equal sides = 9/4cm.

(other than base,each equal to a)

Now, let the third sides of isosceles traingle be x.(base)

Now, We know=>

Perimeter of Isosceles traingle= 2a + b

=>Perimeter = 2(a) + x

=>43/4 = 2(9/4) + x

=>x = (43/4 - 9/2)

=>x =( 43-18)/4

=>x = 25/4

=>x= 6.25cm

Hence the length of the third side is 6.25cm or 25/4cm.

Some important information=>>

1) Isosceles traingle

=The traingle which has any two of the sides equal and the third side is generally taken as base.

Perimeter of Isosceles traingle= 2a + b

where a = The equal sides and

b = base.

2) Equilateral traingle

= The traingle which is having all of its sides equal is called an Equilateral traingle.

Perimeter of Equilateral traingle=3a

where a is one of the side of the equilateral traingle.
