The perimeter of isoscales of triangle is 39 cm . The ratio of equal side to its base is 5:3. Find the area of triangle.

perimeter=39cm
as it is isosceles triangle
two sides be x each i.e. 2x
ratio is 5:3
5×2x:3×x
10x:3x
i.e. 10x+3x=39
x=3

fherefore,base =9
and sides be 30 i.e. 15 each

2x+y=39
2x=39-5/3x
2x+5/3x=39
11x/3= 39
X= 39×3÷11
X. = 117 ÷11
X=10.6cm(equal sides )

base = (39-21.2)=17.8

now the area of traingle you would find with herons formula !
