The perimeter of one face of a cube is 40 cm.Find the sum of lengths of its edges.

Hii friend,

perimeter of one face of a cube = 4×edge

40 = 4× edge

edge = 40/4

edge of cube = 10 cm

The Length of each edge of cube = 10

Therefore,

The the sum of edge of cube = 12 × 10 = 120 CM

Here is ur solution :-

perimeter of one face of cube means a perimeter of square : here given one face of a cube is 40

since :- perimeter of square = 4×side = 4a

4a = 40

a = 40/4 = 10cm side of cube

Now .. we all know that
Total surface area if cube = 6×a² (a =side)

so , 6×10²

=> 6×100

=> 600cm² Answer
