Let smaller side =x cm, then

Larger side= x+25 cm

Hence perimeter ,

=2*(smaller side + larger side)

=2*(x+x+25)= 2*(2x+25)

=4x + 50 = 150 (given)

So 4x=100

Or x =25

Smaller side = 25 cm and

Larger side = 25+25

                   = 50 cm

hope it is helpful

Answer:-

Given that :-

  • Perimeter of  parallelogram is 150 cm² .

  • one of its side is greater than the other by 25 cm

To find :-

  • all sides of the parallelogram

\huge{\sf{\boxed{\boxed{Solution:}}}}

Perimeter of  parallelogram = 2 ( l + b ) .

________________________________

Now let smaller side be a cm .

Greater side will be a + 25 cm .

Now , putting the values ,

150 = 2 ( a + a + 25 )

75 = ( 2 a + 25 )

2 a = 75 - 25

a = 50 / 2

a = 25 cm

Hence smaller side is 25 cm

Greater side = 25 + 25 = 50 cm.
