GOOD MORNING!!

Perimeter of a rectangle having length L and breadth b is = 2 { L + b }

and it's area is = { L × b }

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION

2 { L + 25 } = 150

=>

L = 75 - 25

=>

L = 50cm

So, it's area is 50 × 25 = 1250cm²

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

the perimeter P is equal to the sum of lengths of the four sides. Now since opposite sides are equal then the perimeter is equal to twice the sum of the length L and the breadth B.

P = 2(L + B)

150 = 2(L + 25) = 2L + 50

2L = 150 - 50 = 100

L = 50 cm

A(area) = L×B = 50×25 = 1250 cm^2
