Answer:

Breadth = 40 m

Area = 1800 sq. m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the rectangle is = 45 m

Length is in two sides of the rectangle

Therefore, total length of two sides = 45 + 45 = 90 m

Perimeter of the rectangle = 170 m

Now, breadth of also in two sides of the rectangle

Therefore, total breath two sides = 170 - 90 = 80

Breadth = 80 ÷ 2 = 40 m

Formula of area of rectangle = L × B

Therefore, area of the rectangle = 45 × 40 = 1800 sq.m.

Answer:

so here,

length of rectangle = 45m , breadth = ?

and it's perimeter =170 m

so,we know that

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

therefore,

2(l+b) = 170 m

2( 45m + b) = 170m

45m + b = 170m/2

45m + b = 85m

b= 85m -45m

b = 40 m

so , we get the breadth i.e. 40m

now we have to find it's area

area of rectangle = l×b

= 45m × 40m

= 1800m^2

hence , the breadth of rectangle is 40 m and it's area is 1800m^2

thank u!
