Let the breadth of rectangle be x cm.

therefore, length of rectangle is 2x cm.

perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l + b)

180 = 2 ( 2x + x)

180 = 4x + 2x

180 = 6x

x = 180/6

x = 30

therefore , length = 2x = 2 × 30 = 60 cm

breadth = x = 30 cm.

Area of rectangle = l × b

Area of rectangle = 60 × 30

Area of rectangle = 1800 cm^2
