Answer :-

  • Length of the Rectangle = 10 cm

Given :-

  • Width of Rectangle = 5 cm
  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 30 cm

To Find :-

  • Length of the Rectangle = ?

Explanation :-

Let the Length of the Rectangle to be 'x' cm.

\boxed { \boxed { \bf \longrightarrow Perimeter \: of \: Rectangle = 2 (Length + Width) }}

Now Substituting the values,

\rm \longrightarrow 2 (L + B) = 30 \: cm

\rm \longrightarrow 2 (x + 5) = 30 \: cm

\rm \longrightarrow (x + 5) = \dfrac{30}{2} \: cm

\rm \longrightarrow (x + 5) = 15 \: cm

\rm \longrightarrow x = 15 - 5\: cm

\underline { \boxed { \bf \longrightarrow x = 10 \: cm }}

Hence, the Length of the rectangle is 10 cm.
