Let the breadth be 'b'

then length is '2b'

Perimeter = 2(length+breadth)

42 = 2(b+2b)

3b = 21

b = 7cm

Therefore, length = 2b = 14cm and

breadth = b = 7cm

Answer:

heya mate....

here is ur solution...

l+b = 21 cm ...(i)

given that 2b=l

putting it's value in (i)

2b+b=21

3b=21

b=7

l=2b=14

hence, length =14cm

and breadth=7 cm

hope it helps....thanks.... :-)
