Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle= 40cm

let it's breadth= X

let it's length= 2+ 2x

perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+breadth)

40= 2(2+2x+x)

40= 2(2+3x)

40/2 = 2+3x

20= 2+3x

20-2= 3x

18/3= X

6= X

so, breadth=6cm

length= 2+2(6)= 13cm
