or,   2(l+b) = 40 

or,    2(x+4+x) = 40

or,  2(2x+4) =40

or,  4x+8 =40

or,   4x = 40-8

or,   x = 32/4

       x= 8

so, width(b) = x = 8 m.

And, length(l) = x +4  = 12 m

therefore its dimension is 12m×8m
