Let the length be l and width be w.

⇒l=2w+2

⇒P=2(2w+2w)

=3(3w+2)

=6w+4

Equating perimeters given.

6w+46

Subtract 4 from both sides and divide by 6

⇒6w=46−4

=42

⇒w=42/6

=7

Width=7

⇒l=(2×7)+2

=16

Length=16
