Given :-

  • The perimeter of rectangular park is 200 metre. it's length is 10 metre more than twice it's breadth.

To find :-

  • Length and breadth of rectangle

Solution :-

  • Perimeter of rectangular park = 200m

Let the breadth be x

  • Its length is 10 metre more than twice it's breadth.

  • Length = 2x + 10

According to the given condition

→ Perimeter of rectangular park = 200

→ 2(l + b) = 200

→ 2(2x + 10 + x) = 200

→ 3x + 10 = 200/2

→ 3x + 10 = 100

→ 3x = 100 - 10

→ 3x = 90

→ x = 90/3

→ x = 30

Hence,

  • Breadth of rectangular park = x = 30m

  • Length of rectangular park = 2x + 10 = 70m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of the park be x.

thus length=2x+10

B.T.Q

2×(2x+10+x)=200

=>6x+20=200

=>3x+10=100

=>3x=90

=>x=90/3

therefore x=30 m

thus:

length=70 m

breadth =30 m

Hope it helps
