Answer:

Let the breadth be 'x'

Length = 2 + 2x

Now perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

2(l + b) = 154

2 ( 2 + 2x + x) = 154

2 ( 2 + 3x) = 154

2 + 3x = 77

3x = 75

x = 25 m

Required breadth = 25 m

Length = 2 + 2 x 25 = 52 m

Hope This Helps You!

Perimeter = 154m

= 2( l+b)

Breadth = b

Length = 2b+ 2

THEREFORE

154= 2( b+ 2b+2)

154 = 6b + 4

150 = 6b

150/6 = b

25m = b

therefore length = 2(25) +2

= 52m
