Formula used :

Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2(l+b)

Solution :

Let the breadth(b)of swimming pool be x

⇒Length of swimming pool,l = 2+2x

Given Perimeter of rectangular swimming pool= 154cm

We know that ,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

⇒154=2(2+2x+x)

⇒154 = 2(2+3x)

⇒154=4+6x

⇒154-4=6x

⇒150=6x

⇒x= 150/6= 25 cm

Therefore,

Breadth of swimming pool,b = x= 25cm

and length of swimming pool,

l = 2+2x = 2+50= 52cm
