Here is your answer buddy,

\textbf{GIVEN}

Perimeter of the rectangle = 10 mt
Perimeter of a rectangle = Perimeter of a square.

\textbf{Now}

Let, a = side.

Therefore,

4a = 10 mt
=> a = \frac{10}{4}
=> a = \frac{5}{2}

\textbf{So, Now the Area of the square is: }

 a^{2} = \frac{25}{4}

Hope this helps.

Perimeter of the rectangle is 10m.

Perimeter of the rectangle = Perimeter of the square

Therefore perimeter of the square is also 10m.

Let one side of the square be a

Perimeter of a square = 4*a

10 = 4a

10/4 = a

5/2m = a

Area of a square = Side*Side

= 5/2*5/2

= 25/4m^2

Hope it helps :)
