however in general specific heat at constant pressure is always greater than specific heat at constant volume because at constant pressure some part of heat given is converted into work but at constant volume work done is zero
in certain cases specific heat at constant pressure can be less than a specific heat at constant volume like in case of water from zero degree centigrade to 4 degree centigrade
