Let the breadth be 'x',

Then length be 'x+10',

Perimeter of the rectangle,

2(l+b) = 100

l+b = 50

x+ 10 + x = 50

2x + 10 = 50

[tex]2x = 40 [/tex]

x = 40/2

x = 20

Hence,

Breadth = 20 m

Length = 20 + 10 = 30 m

l=x+10
b=x
p=2 (x+10+x)=100
2x+10=50
2x=50-10
x=40÷2
x=20
breadth=20
length =20+10=30
