\huge \color{red} \mathfrak Answer :- \\  \\ Perimeter \:  = 2(l + b) \\ 100 = 2(35 + b) \\  \frac{100}{2}  = 35 + b \\ 50 - 35 = b \\ 15 \: cm \:  = b \\  \\ Area \:  = l \times b \\  = 35 \times 15 \\  = 525 \:  {cm}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello mate

Here is your answer

Let the breadth be x

Then, perimeter of the given rectangle = 2*(l+b)

= 2*(35+x)

=> 70+2x

But perimeter = 100 cm (given)

hence, 70+2x= 100

=> 2x = 100-70

=> x = 30/2

=> x = 15

So, breadth = 15 cm

Now area = length *breadth = (35*15)cm^2

= 525 cm^2

hope it helps
