perimeter =length +2×radius
25=l+2×4.5=l+9
l=25-9=16cm
l=thetha/360×2pi r
16=/2thetha/360pi ×r
area=thetha/360×pi r^2=8×4.5=36cm^2

Question :-
The perimeter of a circle of radius 8 cm is 25cm. what is the area of sector ?
Solution :-
→ Perimeter of sector = OA + OB + ACB
→ 25 = 8 + 8 + ACB
→ ACB = 25 - 16
→ ACB = 9 cm
Now,
Area of sector = 1/2 × radius × arc
Area = 1/2 × 8 × 9
Area = 1 × 4 × 9
Area = 36 sq.cm 【 Answer 】
