Perimeter of square = side × side

Let side of square be x

Now

Perimeter of square = 16 cm

Now using formulas

Perimeter of square = ( x) (x)

16. = X^2

Now take under root of it..

_/16 = x

4 cm = x

Now we get it side

We use Pythagoras theorem

H^2 =p^2 + b^2

H^2 = 4^2 +4^2

H^2 = 16 +16

H^2 = 32

H = _/32

H = 4_/2 cm

Therefore diagonal is 4_/2 cm...
