perimeter of trapezium = 64cm
Non parallel sides= 13cm
But, perimeter= sum of all sides
64. = a+b+c+d
64. = a+b+13+13
64-26. = a+b
38. = a+b
Distance between them= 12cm
Area of trapezim= half × (sum of parallel sides)×distance between them
=half ×38×12
=38×6
=226

hey mate
here given that
perimeter of trapezium=64cm
distance between two parallel side=12cm
and each nonparallel side=13cm
we know that
perimeter of trapezium=sum of all side
let sum of parallel side is (a+b)
so,64 cm=a+b+c+d
64=13+13+(a+b)
so,(a+b)=(64-26)cm=38cm
and we know that
area of trapezium=half×(sum of parallel side)×(distance between parallel side)
so, area=1/2×38×12=228 cm sq.
