Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle = 58 m

Length of rectangle = 17 m

Breadth of rectangle =?

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( length + breadth)

58 = 2 ( 17 + breadth)

58 / 2 = 17 + breadth

29 = 17 + breadth

Breadth = 29 - 17

Breadth = 12 m

Ans = the breadth of the rectangle in 12 m.

Answer:

Th breadth of the rectangle will be 12 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Here the perimeter and the length of a rectangle is given to be 58 m and 17 m respectively

We have to find the breadth of the rectangle

The perimeter of rectangle is given by twice the sum of its length and breadth

perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( length + breadth )

                               58  = 2 ( 17 + breadth )

                                29 = 17 + breadth

                       breadth = 29 - 17

                       breadth = 12 m
