I think, B is the Effector.

Explanation:

Because, in the NCERT diagram, the motor neuron (the down one) is showing as connected to Effector (Muscle in arm) . So, I think this one also would be the same. The patch work seen in your figure, is likely to be an Effector. For the time being, let's hope so. Hope this helps!!!
