The pH of a sample of vinegar is 3.76. Calculate the concentration of hydrogen ion in it.

Here is your answer..................

pH of vinegar is given as 3.76.

As we know, pH = -log [H+]

So, log [H+] = -pH

Or, [H+] = antilog (-pH)

= antilog (-3.76)

So, [H+] = 1.74 x 10-4 M.
