Given:

pH of three solutions is 3 , 9 , 6.

To find:

Order of increasing acidity ?

Calculation:

 • We know that pH = -log_(10)[H]

 • That means lower the pH, higher will be the [H+] concentration of the solution and higher will be the acidity.

 • pH < 7 means acidic , pH = 7 means neutral and pH > 7 means alkaline.

A : pH = 3

B : pH = 9

C : pH = 6

 • So, the required order is :

\boxed{B < C < A}
